135 Years of Service

Garrett Ace Hardware isn’t just a hardware store; it’s a cornerstone of the Healdsburg and Windsor communities. Celebrating 135 years of service, Garrett Ace Hardware has been a constant presence in the Healdsburg and Windsor communities, serving families throughout every phase of life and every home improvement project. From first-time homebuyers to seasoned renovators, we’ve helped countless community members create a space that reflects their unique needs and style.

Our journey began in the late 1880s as a modest tin and hardware shop. As the community grew, so did we. What started as a small-town store has evolved into a premier Ace Hardware retailer, but our commitment to exceptional customer service and community involvement remains unwavering.

A Lifetime of Partnership

Garrett Ace Hardware has been there through it all. We’ve helped young couples build their first homes, selecting the perfect paint colors and essential tools. We’ve supported growing families with supplies for backyard barbecues, gardening projects, and home repairs. For seasoned homeowners, we’ve offered expert advice on kitchen remodels, bathroom upgrades, and outdoor living spaces. And as our community has aged in place, we’ve provided solutions to help with maintenance, upgrades, home improvement, and everything in between!

Celebrating 135 Years of Service with You

To mark this extraordinary milestone, we’re hosting a month-long anniversary celebration filled with fun events, special deals, and opportunities to give back to the community.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Signage Unveiling

Join us on Monday, August 12th, at 3:30 PM for a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony and the unveiling of our new store signage.

Special Exhibit

We’re thrilled to partner with the Healdsburg Museum and Historical Society to showcase the rich history of Garrett Ace Hardware. The Healdsburg Museum was founded in 1976. They collect, preserve, and present the history of Healdsburg and the surrounding area in Northern Sonoma County through exhibitions, research, educational events, community programs, and publications. The museum will be hosting a special exhibit featuring artifacts, photographs, and stories from our 135 years in business. We invite you to visit the museum to learn more about our history and the impact we’ve had on the community. Throughout August, you can also round up your purchase total to donate to the Healdsburg Museum and Historical Society. Plus, all guests who visit the museum will receive a raffle ticket for our Customer Appreciation party for a chance to win some of our largest prizes.
